Services
Michelle’s studio office is located at Centered Clay Collective in Park Ridge, IL. This is a clay based studio, however there are additional materials available for individual therapy. Clients are never required to make art if they choose not to.
Art therapy with children
I work with children ages 10 and up, utilizing both individual and family therapy for those clients. Parents are expected to participate in the therapy process, though the level of involvement will depend largely on the age and needs of the child. Additionally, I encourage all parents to seek out a therapist of their own so they can engage in the therapeutic process alongside their child.
Art therapy with adults
Art therapy is a great way for adults of all ages to explore their own creativity and access parts of the self that may need nurturing. We all have an inner child and can benefit from play, creative problem solving and channeling our deepest thoughts and emotions. In individual therapy you can expect to collaborate with me about your intended goals and desired outcomes.
Telehealth & Counseling
Telehealth services and traditional counseling are also available if that is a more accessible or appropriate match. It is available for adults ages 18 and up. Telehealth is also available as needed in case of illness or travel for those who do choose to come in person or for children (if deemed appropriate).
